The Deacons coordinate the care provided to members and friends of Webster Groves Presbyterian Church during times of joy, transition, illness, and loss. For more information, contact Jane Fairbanks.
Hospitality Ministries
Our hospitality group coordinates fellowship throughout the year including the church picnic, Christmas luncheon, and new members barbecue as well as receptions of celebrations and memorials. On Sunday mornings this group organizes fellowship snacks and monthly communion. For more information contact Donna Bellows.
Keeping in Touch Ministries
Our Keeping in Touch team connects with isolated members by regularly visiting them in their homes and bringing them flowers, treats, and copies of sermons. Members experiencing health issues receive flowers, cards, and visits as well. For members in long term recovery or need, our Meal Ministry provides dinners tailored to the situation. Communion can be served on site to any members unable to attend our Sunday worship. Contact Nancy Hansbrough for additional information.
Life Transitions and Milestones
We recognize members through celebrations of special events such as births, graduations, membership and birthday milestones, as well as support congregants in times of grief.
