Get Involved

We at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church understand that the involvement of our church and community help make us stronger and allows us to impact our surrounding areas, and even the world. We encourage each and every one of you to get involved with the church, as we have something for everyone.

UPCOMING:

Faith Formation - Diving Deeper
Sundays, February 9, 16 & 23

Join us in Diving Deeper at 9:30am in the Youth Lounge as Rev. Max Hill, the UKirk St. Louis pastor, leads us through Queerfully and Wonderfully Made: From the Personal to Practical. In the past decade, the PC(USA) made several decisions as a denomination that affirmed the ministry and marriages of LGBTQ+ people. How have these decisions affected real people? Join Rev. Max Hill as they guide us through the questions that occur when we seek to more faithfully welcome and celebrate people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Over three sessions, Rev. Hill will share personal experiences from their life as openly queer person in ministry. They will provide new and exciting insights into queer scriptural interpretation and particular steps that we can take in making sure that we are a congregation where all are welcome.
Please be mindful that this class is capped at 15. To reserve your spot, email Valerie Hampton by Sunday, February 2nd.

Easter Congregational Art Project

Join Shawn Portell in the Art Room (Room 214 - 2nd floor) on the first and third Fridays of February, March and April anytime between 10:00am & 2:00pm and learn how to make butterflies using silk and silk dyes. When finished they will be created into mobiles for our Easter Sunday celebration! Once you learn the process you are welcome to come to the Art Room anytime the church is open to work independently! Please RSVP to Shawn so we know how to be prepared.
