Fellowship

Church doesn't just happen during the hour of worship--church happens when we gather in large groups or small to celebrate, to support, or just to be still and be known with our friends in Christ.

Sunday Fellowship

After worship all are welcome to join us for coffee, snacks, and fellowship in Fellowship Hall.  We're proud to serve Switch Coffee, which is locally roasted here in St. Louis, ethically sourced, provides job training and employment for marginalized people in our community, AND is delicious!

Backyard Family Movie Night

Saturday, September 7, 6:30-9:30pm

Bring your chairs and blankets and join fellow WGPC families for an outdoor movie night in the Petru backyard. We will gather for fellowship and to watch a family-friendly flick in the backyard (movie TBD). Snacks, popcorn and juice/water provided - just bring yourself and a seat (or use the grass).

RSVP: Joshua and Katie

Dinner With Friends

It's that time again. What a great way to get together with church friends and get to know them in a purely social way with good food, good conversation, and meeting three times during the year with different members. To sign up, send in your information - name, address, phone number, and if you can host - by adding your name to the Dinner With Friends table in the back of Fellowship Hall or by email sent to Betsy Wacker or Jan Phillips.

We will float, paddle, picnic and explore for most of the day. It's a 6-mile trip that will bring us right back to the campground. Average trip time is about 5 hours.

Gasconade Hills Resort offers tent camping, RV sites as well as cottages and campers. If you are coming with tents or an RV, a one- or two-night stay is possible. If you are interested in a cottage or camper, there is a two-night minimum.

Worship by the River:

Sunday, September 21st at 9:30am, our group will gather for worship. Pastor Ed and Shawn have put together a service reflecting on the Creation Story told in Genesis 1:1-2:4. We will commune in the woods and celebrate our beautiful surroundings with some "Creation Music."
