Mission Outreach
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Matthew 25:35-36
Reaching out to others, both locally and internationally, is a key aspect of what we are called to do as Christians. At Webster Groves Presbyterian, our mission is to help provide our neighbors a pathway out of poverty and toward opportunity and empowerment. We commit to support organizations that provide hope and opportunity to under-served communities, and we strive to connect with these partners through financial support, as well as hands-on involvement.
Our three key focus areas are Food and Housing Security, Education and Empowerment, and Stronger Community. Click below to learn more about each of these areas of focus.

Food and Housing Security
We focus on basic needs that must be met before individuals and families can move forward. To do this, we partner with agencies such as Isaiah 58 Ministries, Home Sweet Home, and Webster-Rock Hill Ministries.
Education and Empowerment
We work towards providing a pathway out of poverty by supporting organizations that provide education and training programs to neighbors near and far.
Stronger Community
We support efforts that make the community a stronger, safer, and more welcoming place for all by partnering with organizations such as the International Institute, Interfaith Partnership, and our own team that advocates for social justice.
