The Rev. Ed Zumwinkel III

Pastor
efz@wgpc.org Ext. 3201

Ed is a St. Louis native whose faith formation began at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Ballwin, where he was ordained as a Deacon at the age of 15. After high school, Ed graduated with honors from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He then joined Xerox Corporation in sales. After six years in this field, he began to sense a call to youth ministry and left his corporate position to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves.

Ed served in his first call after seminary as associate pastor at Glendale Presbyterian Church with a focus in youth ministry. After nine years at Glendale, he served as pastoral assistant for youth ministry at Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian Church before becoming co-pastor at Hope United Church of Christ in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood. He became the Head of Staff at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church in the fall of 2015.

Ed is married to his wife Donna with whom they raised two sons. Ed and Donna enjoy hiking, camping, golf, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and traveling together.

We seek to live Christ's love, welcome all people and joyfully serve God.
