Compassion Ministries

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Faithful Endings, Hopeful Beginnings
Small Grief Fellowship Group

Sundays, April 11-May 16, 8:15am - Church Parlor
It's an understatement to say that this past year has been a difficult one. During this time many things have changed and strained our old normal. Many of us have experienced the loss of a loved one, a job or the ability to physically gather together. In addition, we each have been busy figuring out how things will work, what we feel safe doing, where to go and what lies ahead. We have lost many of our usual ways of processing and managing life's challenges and the opportunity to gain support through gathering together in community.

As our church is re-opening, the Gathering Task Force is forming a small, grief fellowship group called Faithful Endings, Hopeful Beginnings. It will be facilitated by Stephen Minister, Nancy Knight. This is an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences and offer each other support and hope. We will practice all safe health protocol with masks, safe distancing and hand sanitizer.

If you are interested in being a part of, or learning about this group, please contact Nancy Knight by email or at 314-494-2283.

We seek to live Christ's love, welcome all people and joyfully serve God.
