The Rev. Pat Cleeland

Interim Youth Director

WGPC is excited to welcome Rev. Pat Cleeland as our interim youth director. She will be leading our Celtics, Agape and Confirmation youth for the coming year. Pat has been a volunteer advisor with our Agape youth group and has extensive experience working with youth in her vocation as an ordained Presbyterian minister.

Originally from New Orleans, Rev. Cleeland earned her undergraduate degree in Management from Tulane University. After realizing a career in accounting was a bit too bland, she returned to school, earning her Master of Divinity from Eden Seminary. She went on to serve as the Hunger Action Enabler for the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy, was Pastor in Residence at Mound Ridge Camp and Conference Center, and worked in education and youth ministry with several churches around the St. Louis area.

Rev. Cleeland reports she is excited to work with youth. Her hobbies include “playing with my dogs Gus and Atlas, needlepoint, talking my children off the proverbial ledge and visiting my husband in the hospital when he falls off his bike!”

We seek to live Christ's love, welcome all people and joyfully serve God.
