Associate Pastor Nominating Committee

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8

We are honored and humbled to have been selected by the Congregation to serve as the Associate Pastor Nominating committee for the selection of a new Associate Pastor for Webster Groves Presbyterian Church. We recognize the importance of this responsibility and are committed to work with grace, energy, and diligence to serve the Church in this important way.

We commit to prayerfully listen to and trust the voice of the Holy Spirit as God leads us forward as a Congregation. To each other, we commit to be open, honest, receptive, respectful and patient in our work as a committee. Further, we commit to make the work of this committee a priority. We will strive for unanimity in each of our decisions through a process that both welcomes and challenges all voices.

We commit to keep the Congregation informed about our progress, recognizing that the specifics of our work must remain confidential. We will remain mindful that we are serving on behalf of, and for the greater good of, the Congregation.

We seek God’s Blessing for our work.
